Just a nice little excerpt from a research task I had for the Natural History Illustration course i'm currently taking.
Katie Scott
Having graduated from the University of Brighton, majoring in Illustration, Katie Scott's studio is based in London. Whilst a lot of her artwork is contemporary in nature, she takes inspiration from natural history & scientific artwork. She has worked with the likes of Kew Gardens, Phaidon & Urban Outfitters and has published three encyclopedic books: Story of Life: Evolution, Botanicum and Animalium. She's inspired by other natural history illustrators such as: Ernst Haeckel and Albertus Seba
